Job Summary:
The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) position is directly responsible for driving the sales and promotional activities in the HVAC and Basement/Crawlspace/Pest (BCP) markets. The TSM ensures execution of developed strategies, sales plans, marketing programs, and all related activities are in accordance with overall sales objectives as well as business reviews with distribution partners on a semi-annual basis. Maximize sales volume and profitability within the channel. The Residential & Commercial channel utilizes a two-step distribution partner program for our HVAC/BCP markets. The TSM will work with Director of Sales to establish sales strategies, defining and implementing tactics and action plans to achieve the plan objectives.

Territory Includes: Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for HVAC/BCP business conducted with Santa Fe products within their respective territory.
  • Work with distribution partners specifically within the HVAC/BCP Management segment. This includes but not limited to accompanying distribution sales representative on calls to contractors, conducting training sessions, calling on contractors assisting in pulling through business to distribution partners.
  • Attending trade shows and/or customer events specific to basement, crawlspace, pest segment representing Santa Fe.
  • Develop, gain approval and implement territory plans designed to maximize sales and deliver profitable growth with customers in region.
  • Develops and is accountable for account growth plans and forecasting.
  • Interact with all ThermaStor departments ensuring customer expectations are achieved; sales and profit goals are met; and influence within our company.
  • Serves as a product expert. Understands and has the ability to effectively articulate product features, function, benefits and competitive advantage of our product line to potential customers.
  • Primary conduit of information between ThermaStor and customer base. Keeps Director of Sales aware of customer/market needs, changes, and competitive activity.
  • Participate in development of promotions, and programs for all customers in region to include business cases to support recommendations.
  • Manage expenses to stay within budget.

Job Requirements:

  • Prefer bachelor’s degree, however, will consider equivalent combined education and on the job experience within the HVAC/BCP management segment.
  • Professional selling and strong negotiating capabilities.
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales.
  • Sound knowledge of business and management principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats, including sales and training presentations.
  • Collaborative team player with a focus on internal and external customer service and support excellence.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of channel and customer dynamics in the HVAC/BCP management markets.
  • Understanding of building/structural humidity control, ventilation and air filtration technologies and practices preferred.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point and BI.
  • A valid driver’s license and proven safe driving record.
  • Ability to travel regularly (75%).

Work Environment

  • Remote Based Position, TX Home Office
  • Requires a flexible workday schedule with occasional weekend work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
